THIS WEEK AND BEYOND:

Sunday 8th August, after 10:30 a.m. - If anyone could spare half an hour after the morning service to move tables and chairs from the Hall into the Mill room please see Pauline.  We need to clear the hall of furniture (not the piano) ready for the work to commence the next day.

Monday 9th - Thursday 12th August - The Hall floor in the Church Centre will be re-varnished during this time and therefore the Centre will be closed to everyone to allow the floor time to dry.

Saturday 14th August, 1:00 p.m. - Wedding in Church.

Saturday 28th August, 4:00 p.m. - Wedding in Church.

Sunday 12th September, 10:30 a.m. - Special service to commission Richard White as the Head teacher of St Paul’s School.

Saturday 25th September, 11:30 a.m. - Lawrence Barham Memorial Trust celebrates 25 years of ministry in Africa with an hour of gospel hymn singing followed by lunch.  Tickets for the lunch are £5.00.  The celebration will be at St Marks, Little Common, Bexhill starting at 11:30 a.m. followed by lunch in their attractive new attached hall.  The guests will be Charles Semwaga and the Rwanda High Commissioner and his staff.  Bishop Barham says, “We would value a good crowd from St Matthew’s.”  Please sign the list at the back of the  church if you are planning to attend the lunch.
